To celebrate United Nations Day, Makati Science High School held a pageant in the school during the morning of October 22, 2011.

The theme of United Nations Day that year was "International Year of the Forests."

Before the program started, the students of Makati Science first paraded around the barangay while holding flags of different countries.

The pageant then began with a prayer from the SSG President Jainee Micaela Turla and it was followed by opening remarks from the Principal of the school, Mrs. Divinelinda E. Dela Cruz. The program was emceed by Bianca Sornillo from III-Becquerel and Alan Luga from III-Lavoisier.

The presentation of candidates involved a production number and each one walking up to the microphone and introducing himself and his country. There was an intermission number from the boys of III-Rutherford.

The winners of the pageant were Kelly Zuñiga from IV-Newton and Joshua Fernandez from III-Bohr.

There were a total of 42 candidates with 2 candidates, a boy and a girl, from each section. They wore costumes that represented the country they had chosen.  Students represented countries from the continents North America, South America, Asia, Africa, Australia, and Europe.
