Last March 2009, the second year high school students of Makati Science High School took the National Achievement Test or NAT. After months of grueling reviews and exercises for the coming NAT, at last their hard work has been paid off. With an average of 82.35 %, Makati Science High School goes back on top again.
As a preparation for the upcoming NAT, the sophomore teachers cooperated with each other and spent almost one and a half months reviewing the students and giving different exercises, tests and quizzes. The sophomores felt excited and happy when the principal announced that if they top the NAT, then there will be a big possibility for a stipend increase. This, of course, motivated the students to study hard and aim for the top. And it paid off.
This goes to show that no matter what obstacle Makati Science High School is put through, they will find a way to get through it.
