The Makati Science High School hosts this year’s Division Science Month Celebration, Oct. 10.

The said occasion is participated by the 9 public high schools in Makati. Each school compete in different categories.

The student body, in the presence of the ANGELS’ club and Science and Technology Organization, take part in the exhibit presenting the students’ works, from simple experiments to complex research studies. Students and teachers of other schools cooperate with the rest of the Science Department to also showcase their works.

Selected students from other schools are given a chance to inform others about their researches and present them in such a manner that everyone can thoroughly understand their scientific researches.

In cooperation with STI, students are given seminars and lectures regarding photo editing and with the use of GIMP, an easier photo editing software widely used nowadays.

The exhibition and contest is organized by the Science Department led by Mrs. Celia P. Flores.
